"Shame"

In this piece, Haley explores what it feels like to be wrapped up in shame — the figure emerging from swirling, smoke-like darkness, caught between concealment and being seen. It's part of a two-piece study, paired with a work representing a person living authentically, letting her explore contrasting emotions and paint techniques side by side.

Haley has been rediscovering her creative voice since moving to New York City two and a half years ago, using color and mark-making to express what words can't. 🖤✨
